Fashola, Mrs. Akeredolu, Ooni, others extol Ade-Ojo’s virtues

The Federal Minister of Works and Housing, Mr. Raji Fashola, the wife of the Ondo State governor, Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ojaja 11, and the Minister of State for Niger Delta Affairs, Senator Tayo Alasoadura were among the dignitaries in Ilara Mokin to witness the commissioning ceremony of a seven-kilometre road constructed by the owner of Elizade Motors and University, Chief Ade Ojo.
The constructed road links Ilara-Mokin with Ikota community in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state.
Commissioning the road, the Works Minister, Mr. Fashola commended the gesture, urging every well-meaning Nigerians to emulate it in order to assist the government in providing amenities to their immediate environment.
The minister who described Chief Ade Ojo as a great visionary, said the gesture is a demonstration of his passion for his people and affirmed that his venture into infrastructural development is another great chapter in the array of his achievements.
Fasola however, expressed optimism that the gesture to construct a road network for the benefit of a neighbouring community, will further unite the communities.
In her message, Mrs. Akeredolu described Ade Ojo as a philanthropist per excellence who has succeeded in placing Ilara Mokin on the world map.
Mrs. Akeredolu who enjoined individuals and corporate bodies to emulate the selfless-gesture of the Elizade boss, noted that he is one of the pillars of her BEMORE Empowered Girls for Naija initiative through which over 1,000 girls have been trained in ICT and Solar Technology across Ondo State.
Welcoming guests to the programme, Chief Ade Ojo charged other well-meaning individuals to cultivate the habit of giving back to their societies.
Royal fathers at the event were the Deji of Akure kingdom, HRM Oba Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo, Olowo of Owo, HRM, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye, Alara of Ilara, Oba Abiodun Aderemi Adefehinti and Olori, among others.
