The Ondo State Government has said the Home Ownership Charter of Ondo State HOCOS, programme designed to obtain C-of-O in 60 days at a bonanza rate of 6,000 will come to an end on March 31, 2023.

This was contained in a statement issued by the State Internal Revenue Services.

The statement reads in part “the Ondo State government wishes to inform the general public that the Home Ownership Charter of Ondo State programme designed to obtain C-of-O within 60 days at a bonanza rate will come to an on March 31, 2023.

“So we therefore urge all property owners with or without built structures on them to hurry and buy their application forms at just N6,000 to take advantage of this offer before it closes…”

It would be recalled that a bonanza which avails the people of the state the opportunity to obtain their C-of-O at a reduced rate has started since January 4, 2022.

Inaugurating the newly digitized C-of-O under HOCOS, the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu said it will in no small measure boost economic activities in the state.

The governor who noted that HOCOS is aimed at ensuring transparency, fast tracking, and repositioning of land administration in the state, stressed that his government has moved from a five leaf manually produced C-of-O to a single sheet digitized format.

“The objective of HOCOS is to make land transactions less cumbersome and transparent to the public through digitization. The new single-leaf  C-of-O to be distributed today has been designed with the 21st century technological standard with new security features which will go a long way in preventing fraud.”
