I have what it takes to revive Osun – AP candidate

The Accord Party (AP) hopeful in July 16 governorship election in Osun State, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi has said that he possessed all it takes to revive the economic fortune of the State if elected as the governor.

He said the incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola and the candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State lack the administrative acumens to turn 26 state constituencies economically viable into wealth creation to better the lots of Osun people.

The AP flagbearer spoke at the palace of Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi during his visit to the palace at Ile-Ife as part of his campaign to solicit for royal blessing in his quest to become the governor of the state.

Ogunbiyi with his deputy, Alhaji Kunle Jimoh during the visit, highlighted his programmes to revive agriculture and education and health sectors.

He berated the current government in the state for its poor administration to turn the state economically vialble resources to wealth.

He reinstated his commitment to allowing local government autonomy where people at the grassroot will be able to vote for leaders of their choices and where money meant for local government will get to them.

Earlier, Ooni Of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi, eulogized the governorship candidate of the AP for possessing the leadership qualities to govern Osun state.

The monarch prayed for his success in the forthcoming governorship election in the state
