The newly appointed Caretaker Chairman of Irele Local Government area of Ondo State, Mr. Adebusoye Babarere, has promised to mobilise his people for a second term bid of Arakunrin, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the forthcoming election.
“Akeredolu deserve a second term in offices, Iam rest assured that come October 10, 2020 we shall have every cause to jubilate on his emergence,” he said.
This affirmation was made yesterday at his residence at Ode Irele while speaking with journalists who paid him courtesy visit.
Babarere, who was the executive secretary of the State Universal Basic Education Board(SUBEB) in Ode Irele, prior to his appointment said his appointment was a divine one and appreciated Mr Governor for the opportunity giving to him to serve the people of Irele.
However, he admonished workers in the local government to be dutiful, punctual and report to office at the appropriate time which he said would go a long way to achieve the desire goals of the council.
He equally sought for their support and cooperation, saying a tree cannot make a forest”.
Babarere,also charged youths in Irele to celebrate responsibly this year’s “Ore” festival.
