Kudos to Osun PDP for resolving crisis

Leaders and elders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Osun State have been commended for their efforts at resolving the crisis rocking it.

This is just as members of the party are also enjoined to sustain the ongoing peace efforts and avoid spreading rumours that may derail the successful conclusion of the ongoing reconciliation moves.

One of the PDP aspirant in the State, Senator Ademola Adeleke stated these on Monday after the reconciliation meeting in Okuku.

Former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola led-Reconciliation Committee on Monday convoked a peace meeting between aggrieved members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State.

The reconciliation meeting which held at Oyinlola’s residence had in attendance governorship aspirants for the July 16 governorship election.

Adeleke while explaining why he left the peace meeting said he left where they were having the meeting to attend to urgent family matters.

Adeleke in a statement by his campaign group described the meeting as ‘fruitful with commendable resolutions and conclusions’ said he accepted all the resolutions made.

“I commend our leaders for the successful outcome of the meeting. I associate myself with the resolutions reached.

“PDP is now one big united family in Osun state. I accepted the resolutions reached even though I left afterwards to attend to urgent family matters’ he said.

The party currently has six aspirants; Alhaji Fatahi Akinbade, Dr Akin Ogunbiyi, former Senator Ademola Adeleke, Hon Sanya Omirin , Mr Dele Adeleke and Mr Dotun Babayemi.
