LGSC staff training school ‘ll ensure self sufficiency- PermSec

The Permanent Secretary in the Local Government Service Commission, Mr Kehinde Ige has advised  students of the commission’s Staff Training School to work hard and make success of whatever they are doing in the school.

Ige who stated this at the School’s Annual Fruits Exhibition tagged; “Living on Healthy Fruit”,said the training school is not about career enhancement alone but to ensure that students are self sufficient.

He said the students that put the exhibition together after leaving the school will not be waiting for salary before they could feed their families.

The PS, also solicited more support for the school to sustain the effort of the commission at making the school to be recognized nationwide with the MOU recently signed with Rufus Giwa Polytechnic ,Owo on Diploma and Higher Diploma .

The annual fruits exhibition was organised for the graduating students of the Department of  Agric and Natural Resources of the traning  school.

While speaking, the Training School Director of Study, Mr Solomon Ariyeloye said the exhibition was to showcase and educate people on the importance of eating fruits.

He said people depend so much on drugs for illness that can be cured by eating fruits like Banana, Cucumber, Walnut, Garden egg and others  without side effects.

He therefore advised people to live on fruits for healthy life .

The Director of Agric and Natural Resources Department and a lecturer in the Department , Mr Ibitoye Bayode Esho and Mrs Sarunmi Eshe  explained the benefit of eating fruits.
