According to information obtained from the official handle of Sunshine stars by the Sporting Hope, “FYI: Our NPFL match day 8 game with Katsina United now comes up today,  February 11, 2019.

Akure let’s brace up for a rare Monday evening football.

Dogo in a chat with newsmen , promised to fight for 6 maximum points in his team’s next two home matches, (today’s match included).

According to him “anything short of victories in the two games will not be good for our standing on the table”.

He said , “our 1-0 lost to Niger Tornadoes afforded us an opportunity to go back and work on some areas where we felt we need to make some adjustments before our next match, today.”

Dogo has earlier bemoaned the manner in which Sunshine Stars lost the game saying I can not say we lost to a better side.

What I saw in our game against Niger Tornadoes I have never witnessed such since the start of the season.

The goal aside, a lot of factors contributed to the outcome of the game. Well, I know Tornadoes were desperate for the win”,he concluded.
