The Oyo state Football Association (OYSFA) has frowned at those flaunted its earlier order banned both professional and street football in the State.

The association warned all those playing football in the streets and other various places across the state to desist from the act or face severe punishment.

The Oyo State FA Chairman, Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran, who gave the warning through a release signed by the secretary of the OYSFA, Mr Kehinde Ojelowo,he said “it is unfortunate that despite the directives of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and OYSFA suspending all Football activities in the state, some people are still engaging in football activities within the state.”

Odeniran further condemned the act in strong terms, noting that whoever is caught will be made to face the full wrath of the law.

He thereby implored all football stakeholders in the state to adhere strictly to this directives.

It will be recalled the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) had in March 2020 announced the cessation of all forms of football activities in the country, as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic.
