Report strange movements, Amotekun urges Fulanis

The Commander of the Ondo state Security Agency Network (Amotekun) has asked the Fulani community in state to report any strange movement seen around to stern down criminality in the state.
This statement was made during a security meeting held at the Adekunle Ajasin Information center Isua Akoko during a security meeting called by the Ondo state Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) aimed to sensitize level of awareness, preparedness and response to the pervasive security situation in the country.
“We expect interaction between the Hausa Fulani communities and the local government chairman to carry the message home that it is now mandatory that once you see any strange movement you have to report we believe this is stern down criminality on our people.
“This is aimed to raise our level of awareness, preparedness and response to the pervasive security situation in the country at large as well as to sensitize us on intelligence report received by the command and control center of Operation Clean up.
“The report we hard was that hoodlums are trooping into the state to wreck
havoc. We are not unaware of what is happening in our neighboring states. Especially as it’s affect Kidnapping of students, dignitaries and people generally.
“Our efforts have largely been on urban crimes in the last three months with drastic reduction in crime incidence to show for it. We will not rest on our oars as we have continued to receive support from the Chief Security officer of the State Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as well robust cooperation from all security Agencies in the state.
“It is also important to note that activities of activities of criminals herdmen involved in destruction of farmlands have reduced because of our insistence on payment nod compensation and seizure of cattles.
Also speaking is the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on security matters Alahaji Jimoh Dojumo who expressed that enough is enough for open grading which promotes criminalities in the state.
There is a limite of human endurance, there is a limit where you push someone be to and cannot take anymore.
With this we are averting what may lead to war. Let us stop harboring iligal grazing as they arrive at the center not the problem on ground. They have been covering themselves and I have to tell them the truth.
The zonal chairman Miyetti Allah Akomo land Usman Waziri said they are trying thier best to bring in peace to the Land.
He further said they have been in Yoruba land for a very long time and hope to stay in peace.
