RUGIPO begins Taxation, Forestry, others

The Management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) has commenced newly accredited courses in the institution.

This followed the approval of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for 2021/2022 academic session.

The new courses for National Diploma (ND) include; Taxation, Microfinance and Entrepreneurial Development, Insurance, Leisure and Tourism Management, Home and Rural Economics, Transportation Planning and Management, Cooperative Economics and Management and Forestry Technology while courses for Higher National Diploma (HND) include; Public Administration and Social Development.

In a statement signed by the institution’s Registrar, Mr Sule Atiku,  interested candidates must score 110 and above in the 2021/2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

Atiku noted that the same cutoff mark apply to students willing to change their schools of choice.

He assured the students that all the courses and programmes are fully accredited by the NBTE.

The Registrar directed applicants to visit the Polytechnic portal for further information on registration procedures and screening.
