…says religious leaders’ prayers effective

Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, has acknowledged the continued prayers of religious leaders in the state for his administration which he said have contributed immensely to the monumental achievements recorded so far.

Akeredolu who spoke while playing host to members of the Board of Trustees of Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria, FOWMAN, Ondo State chapter, said  despite the myriad of challenges confronting the nation, divine interventions through prayers have kept the state steadily going.

The governor who assured of the unwavering pursuit of his administration’s development agenda, however, called for more prayers so that more impactful performances would be in place for the comfort of people of the state.

Speaking earlier, the team leader of the association, Alhaja Rafat Momoh said the sterling performances of Governor Akeredolu and his cabinet have given citizens of the state a lot to appreciate God.

Momoh said the Board of Trustees of FOWMAN would continue to be grateful to  Arakunrin Akeredolu administration for her commitments to good governance, gender equality, care for the disabled and promotion of religious harmony.

“In this generation with global concerns on diversity and inclusion, you Arakunrin is breaking the glass ceiling for women, people with disabilities, regardless of age or ethnicity”, she said.

The group assured that it will continue to pray and work for the success of the present administration.
