Teenager remanded for stealing parts

An 18-year-old teenager, has been remanded by an Osogbo Magistrates’ Court for allegedly stealing motor spare parts.
Police prosecutor, Fagboyinbo Abiodun told the court that the accused person committed the offence on August 30, 2020 around 5:30am legacy hotel area in Okinni.
The prosecutor alleged that the accused person unlawfully entered the shop of one Tajudeen Olayiwola and stole two poles valued N200,000, Motor Disc valued N25,000, Motor Horb valued N35,000,two gear teeth valued N10,000 and framewell valued N8,000, total N268,000.
He stated that the offence committed contravened Sections 413 and 390(a) of the Criminal Code Cap 34 Vol ll Law of Osun 2002
However, the accused person who had no legal representation pleaded guilty to the allegations against him.
In his ruling, Magistrate Olusegun Ayilara ordered the remand of the accused person in Ilesa correctional centre.
He adjourned the case till September 18 for presentation of fact.
