UNIMEDTH to get facelift

The Vice-Chancellor, University of Medical Sciences, UNIMED, Ondo city, Prof. Adesegun Fatusi has assured the management of the teaching hospital that infrastructural deficit in the institution would be addressed in view of the growing population of students in the University.
Fatusi stated this during a courtesy visit to the hospital complex, saying his administration will focus on capacity building and development, programmes and research.
The Chairman Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Dr. Michael Gbala expressed optimism that the university and the Hospital environment will benefit a lot from the wealth of experience of the Vice-Chancellor .
He advised him to focus more on Infrastructural development which he said is a major problem facing the university.

Added that there is the need for the university to relate with the teaching hospital in the area of research so that they can achieve development mutually.
He told the Vice-Chancellor to make use of the university community as a springboard to achieving a sustainable growth and development .
