Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, was greeted by elated crowd of supporters on Tuesday, as he arrived at the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akure.

The electrifying atmosphere echoed the excitement following Aiyedatiwa’s clinching of the party’s gubernatorial ticket for the forthcoming election slated for November 16.

Aiyedatiwa emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration among fellow aspirants, stressing that it is essential for all party members to work together seamlessly to ensure success in the upcoming November 16 governorship election.

“First and foremost, let me express my gratitude to Almighty God for today’s gathering. Alongside other party leaders, I stand before you, Mr. Chairman, to extend our appreciation to the party, represented here at the secretariat, for facilitating a conducive environment for the conduct of a transparent primary election. Despite my position as governor, it’s imperative to acknowledge that the primary election was solely a party affair. Moreover, I extend my heartfelt thanks for the warm reception accorded to party members during the exercise”

“The primary election has concluded, and all 16 aspirants emerged as winners in their dedication to our party. While I have been honored with the party’s flag, it’s essential to recognize that this victory belongs to all of us. We are indebted to the party for their indispensable support, and I commend the state working committee for their unwavering assistance”
