The new 0lupenmen of Upenmen in Owo local government, area of Ondo state, Oba Ebenezer Adewumi Ogunmolasuyi has joined voice with the Obas to support the state governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in his quest to transform the sunshine state.
The new Oba who received his instrument of appointment and staff of office as the 15th Olupenmen in his domain last week said the traditional rulers have done well and he also aligned with their decision
Oba Ogunmolasuyi said eyes could see the monumental achievements of the governor and therefore asked for second term for him to enable him reach all the nooks and crannies of the state
Ondo State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Adekola Olawoye, SAN, who represented the state governor at the occasion reeled out some of the achievement of the Akeredolu-led government especially as it affects Owo local government area including provision of potable and hygienic water and road construction projects across the 18local government council areas Akeredolu who reiterated the determination of his administration to put the wheel of the state on a better pedestrial in terms of providing infrastructural facilities and social amenities to every community assured that obaship institution will continue to enjoy premium priority in his government
Ondo State Commissioner for local government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Deaconess Lola Fagbemi in her remark commended the Ayiwole Akinola ruling house and the kingmakers for maintaining peace and decorum which paved way for the emergence of the candidate which hitherto marks the dawn of a new beginning in the community
Chairman, Upenmen Community Development Association, Chief (Prof) Andrew Ibisesan Ayodele in his speech maintained that the immediate past Oba Ademulegun from Okeserigi ruling house did well on the throne and hope that the new oba will do more in terms of good representation
