Princess Omowunmi Ohwovoriole yesterday congratulated the Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi on his appointment as the Chairman, Ondo State Council of Obas by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
In a statement signed by Princess Omowunmi, she described Oba Aladetoyinbo who is also the Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, as a true and worthy leader who has unlimited ability and capacity to lead other Traditional Rulers,saying that Governor Akeredolu made a very good choice on the appointment.
While congratulating Oba Aladetoyinbo, Princess Omowunmi said his appointment was coming at a critical time when there was need for direction as the nation is facing security challenges that needs the wisdom of elders to combat and overcome.
On his reign in Akure kingdom, Princess Ohwovoriole affirmed that Oba Aladetoyinbo had in the last few years brought unprecedented development to Akure, stressing that she has the confidence in his ability to deliver on the set mandates.
She noted that with this new appointment, Ondo Obas have a renewed assurance that their welfare and voice will be well represented in the governance of the state.
