COVID-19 vaccination: Why religious houses must take lead’

A cleric, Lady Evangelist Bolanle Ogunsuyi has stressed the need for religious houses to take the lead in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic currently ravaging the world.
Ogunsuyi spoke during a programme at Marian Danian Church, Okeagbe Akoko Northwest Local Government on Sunday.
She called on them to ensure their members take COVID-19 vaccine and observe all safety protocols.
The cleric said religious houses being place for large crowd remain effective mean of information dissemination and veritable vehicle for educating the people on programes and policies that affect their lives.
Equally she stressed the importance of having medical facilities in all worship centers.
According to her, there is the need for religious houses to provide first aids kits for emergency, regular temperature checks, occasional health talks and making worship center environment clean.
These, she said were part of things that makes Almighty God hear prayers and admonition..
Ogunsuyi urges churches to have budgets that will cater of medical care for church members in time of emergency.
