Iji donates campaign office, 23 vehicles to Akeredolu

One of the APC governorship aspirants and Nigeria’s Ambassador to Togo, Amb. Sola Iji, yesterday donated his campaign office and 23 branded vehicles to boost the second term re-election of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Speaking at the formal presentation of the campaign office located along Oyemekun in Akure, Iji explained that his team is fully committed to work for the re-election of Governor Akeredolu to ensure landslide victory at the poll.
Iji stressed that the branded vehicles each of which is mounted with public address systems would be used to wake up the consciousness of the electorate across each local government areas of the state.
“Very early in the morning, these vehicles will be driven around different communities with the intention to sell Aketi into the minds of the people of the state”, Iji added.
The campaign office will be occupied by Akeredolu/Aiyedatiwa’s Youths and Students Mobilisation Committee.
In his remarks, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu described the donation as a bold gesture which would go a long way to propagate his re-election’s gospel ahead of the October 10 poll.
He specially applauded Amb. Iji for his commitment to the unity and victory of the APC in the state.
Akeredolu lauded the commitment of the former aspirants to his re-election project, saying their decision to support him had strengthened the APC more in the state.
