Imade Daughters’ Connect ‘ll fast tract Owo devt –Mahmud

A social group, Imade Daughters’ Connect was on Saturday inaugurated in Akure. The group came into being with a view to synergise and build friendship among the female folks of Owo land
The inauguration took place at Impact International School Alagbaka, Akure, the Ondo state capital.
Speaking with The Hope, the convener and former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Dr Yemi Mahmud described Imade Daughters’ Connect as symbol of daughters of Owo land.
“We have come together to see how we can affect the people of Owo as a community.
Mahmud said that they have resolved to bring together Owo daughters for interaction and integration and facilitate effective participation in the Owo agenda.
“We were thinking of how we can bring them together for the purpose of identification that we are daughters of Owo, and how we can affect others. God has given unto us and lets give back to others especially the female ones.”
She added” all over the world, we have those who are managers of men, and resources across the globe, since we have many of them making waves all over the world.
“We want to integrate ourselves as indigenes, where we have lined up projects on yearly basis, like project 2020, 2021. Project that will develop the community more
“She added that they will collaborate with organisations, government and everybody to ensure that we add colours,” she said.
