LCDA creation: Ekiti community donates building for take-off

To fastrack the take off of the newly created Igbara-Odo/Ogotun Local Council Development Area, the people of Ogotun-Ekiti have donated a six -block room for the council.
The building which would be at the headquarters of the council at Oke-Agbe will have functional facilities like water, toilet, furniture and others.
The traditional ruler of the town, Oba Samuel Oyebade and the entire community expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Governor, Dr John Kayode Fayemi for finding ” our ancient town befitting for the council”
The Ologotun added, ” with our sister community, lgbara Odo and for the wisdom deployed in sitting the headquarters at a location that balances the equilibrium between the two communities, ” we thank our governor”
The community pledged support for smooth and seamless take off of operations of the Local Council Development Area.
The statement signed by Mr Joshua Olu Ojo, the National President and Mr Miracle Oyebode, National Secretary of Ogotun Development Union (ODU) read, ” the community that will house the chairman at the commencement should cede the chairmanship position to other community in fairness and justice.
They also believed that departmental offices at the take off should be shared between the two communities.
