Lightning kills woman in Ilaje

The middle aged woman, Mosunmola Odumomi, who was reportedly killed by lightning in Abe, Odo-Fado, in Ilaje Local Government area of Ondo State last week and thrown into the sea has not been found.
The Hope Metro gathered that the incident happened on Tuesday around 4pm which created panic in the area.
The victim who was hit several times by the thunder and thrown into the sea is yet to be found .
Reliable sources said that the victim who hailed from Odumomi community was said to be a crayfish trader.
The source, a palace chief, Emaye Abejoye, who spoke to our correspondent revealed that the victim was his relative but lost contact with her when she moved to Olugbo, in Ilaje community.
“On that horrible day, I was not at home but I was called and briefed of the incident because the victim was my sister.
Abejoye said, the victim went to the sea with the aim of buying crayfish from the fishing boat before the attack lamenting that her body has not been found.
He called on the State government and relevant agencies to come to their aides
“Our king is trying his best, the Olugbo, of Ugbo kingdom Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, but he cannot do it all alone, he needs government supports, he pleaded.
