An Akure-based musician,Toyosi Akinnagbe, popularly known as Toyosi and Gang in Groove, has described live shows staged by Nigerian artistes as one of the best one could get anywhere in the world.

He said this feat was made possible because Nigerian artistes are good at what they do, since that was what put food on their table.  He, however, said there is room for improvement if they allow God to take charge of their lives.

Akinnagbe in an interview with Friday Extravaganza revealed that his voyage into the music industry was due to the love and passion he has for it and to make people happy through his music.

The artiste revealed that he started singing when he was a child, but professionally about six years ago, saying he was convinced it was something he needed to do.

He attributed his inspiration to divine held, also by listening to good old music of the likes of King Sunny Ade and  Ebenezer Obey.

He stated that his aim is to reach out to as many people as possible and make them happy through his music.

The artiste who is a graduate of Microbiology, Federal University of Technology, Akure, noted that God has been so good to him and had helped him to manage both his career and home properly without any issue.

“Life has been tasking as a musician, but I give glory to God, because I’m not where I was. I have so much in me to give to the world, so this is just the beginning for me.
