NPFL: Sunshine Stars continental target on course —Dogo

Sunshine Stars Coach, Kabir Dogo has said the team’s continental target is still  achievable .

He stated this after the Akure Landlords defeated Abia Warriors one goal to nil in a week 23  Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), decided at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure the State capital.

The former  Nasarawa United gaffer thanked God for the victory which he said his team had been struggling to get in their last three matches .

 His words, “I dedicate this victory  to all the good people of Ondo state, is playing against a team that battling with relegation is always difficult.

“I must say that there is a  great improvement on Abia Warriors,  compared to what I saw from them in the first stanza of the league.

Abia Warriors Coach, Willy Udube expressed his dissatisfaction over the officiating of the game, saying the first half was good, but he condemned the entire second half of the game.

Fuad Ekeloujuoti scored the winning and the only goal of the encounter in the 50th minute to return sunshine Stars to winning ways, after three winless games.

Sunshine’s next match will be away to Enyimba International .
