Ondo State House of Assembly has congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his emergence as the 16th President – elect of Nigeria.
Speaking in a statement made available to The Hope by the Chairman,House Committee on Information,Youth and Sports Development, Olugbenga Omole, the lawmakers described his victory as a Renewed Hope for the Country.
Oleyelogun who described Tinubu as a man with a heart of gold, expressed optimism that with his wealth of experience and love for humanity, Nigeria would soon be taken to a greater height among the comity of nations .
While appealing to opposition parties to join the President-elect in his mission to achieve the desired country, the house, lauded the lndependent National Electoral Commission (lNEC) for conducting a free, fair, credible and one of the best elections in Nigeria political history.
He expressed appreciation to the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for his doggedness and love for APC, saying this is responsible for the landslide victory recorded in the State.
The Speaker however, called on the people of the State to also come out enmass to vote for APC candidates in the House of Assembly election slated for March 11, 2023.
In a related development the Secretary to Ondo State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu, has congratulated the people of the state .
She eulogized the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, on his doggedness and tenacity at ensuring the Southern region, particularly South-West geopolitical zone produced the President noting that his good works motivated the people to vote massively for APC.
According to her, the people of the South West, specifically Ondo State indigenes have shown through their votes that they are truly set for the Rescue Mission.
