Olujigba’s son weds

Dignitaries from all walks of life at the weekend honoured Olujigba of Ijigba, Rev Luyi Rotimi at the traditional wedding ceremony of his son, Oyekanmi who tied the nuptial knot with former Miss Temitope Adeyera.
The elaborate ceremony held at Sunview Hotels, had Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Ogbolu of Itaogbolu, Oba Idowu Faborode, Bishop and Mrs Michael Adesua, Chief Mrs Ajayi Kehinde, Dr and Mrs Ojuolape Adu, Pastor and Dr Mrs Omosebi, Mr and Mrs Dayo Akindele, Chief Sanya Oyinsan among others in attendance.
Chairman of the traditional wedding ceremony, Pastor Dayo Elemide charged the couple to keep away what he referred to as third party.
“Love in matrimony can only remain evergreen if couple keep away third party from the affairs of the home.”
He enjoined them to make the fear of God the foundation of their marriage, saying the fear of God is the corner piece of a peaceful home and a long lasting relationship.
Elemide advised the couple to emulate the virtues of their parents who have bequeathed on them quality education and sound mentorship.
He charged them to work hard to replicate same to their children and environment
The chairman used the opportunity to congratulate the parents of the couple and advised them to allow their children learn the joy and enduring experience of building a virile and productive family.
The groom’s father, Oba Luyi Rotimi who could not hide his joy charged the couple on patience, endurance, perseverance and fear of God.
“I’m very happy today, Oye is my son and he is very close to me. Now that he’s married. I just pray that he will live a good and happy married life.”
