Ondo State All Progressives Congress, have been described as the most peaceful and rancour free on the conduct of its local government congress as held across the nation last Saturday
Making this assertion was the Party Publicity Secretary,Mr Alex Kalejaiye while giving his observation on the just concluded exercise.
Kalejaiye who said he was on ground all through the exercise and got feedbacks from all relevant stakeholders.
“Our congress in Ondo state is one of the best in the congresses in the country because we carried all our party members along up to the ward level.”
However, he recalled that there was a slight hitch in the electoral process at Ifedore Local Government but noted that it has been resolved.
He said:”I think there is an issue, as usual, in Ifedore. It is being looked into and there is peace now.”
It would be recalled that some members of APC in Ekiti and Bauchi states have dragged the party’s Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee to court while some aggrieved members in Enugu, Lagos and Ogun States are preparing to approach the court to seek redress.
