‘Ondo has zero tolerance for exam malpractices’

Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Pastor Olufemi Agagu has said that  government will not hesitate in dealing with anyone caught in examination malpractices in the state.

Agagu stated this when he led a monitoring team to some centres where West African School Certificate Examination, WASSCE English paper 2, objective and oral paper were going on in Akure yesterday.

According to him, Ondo state has zero tolerance for examination malpractices and is not ready to compromise the standard.

While expressing satisfaction with the conduct of the examination in the schools visited, the commissioner said the team was out to monitor the number of candidates and ensure they are comfortable.

His words: “We want to remind school administrators and the people generally that the state has zero tolerance for examination malpractices and we will deal decisively with whoever is caught in such act. But with we have seen, we can say it is peaceful.”

The team visited Palmrock International School, Oda road. African Church Grammar Schools, Alagbaka, Omo’luorogbo Grammar School among others.
