Osun APC screens MHA aspirants

The All Progressives Congress Party (APC), in Osun State yesterday began the screening of about 87 candidates jostling for the State House of Assembly seats.

The aspirants were presented with forms to fill all their particulars and provide necessary information about themselves.

While presenting the forms to the aspirants,the Chairman of the Screening Committee and governorship candidate in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, urged them to fill the forms in accordance with their interests forms already with the Independent National electoral Commission.

He enumerated some of the needed information on to be provided by the aspirants as :education qualifications, local government, state of origin, voters card, birth certificate amongst others.

Ize-Iyamu said  the number of aspirants jostling for 26 seats in the State House of Assembly was a pointer to the fact that the party is very popular in the State.

He advised aspirants not to make mistakes in filling the forms as they will be screened and judged in accordance with information provided.

His words ‘if you are a Doctor or Barrister please indicate it clearly in your form. You must also ensure that what you earlier fill and submit to INEC must tally with what you will provide for us here in this screening committee,” he stated.
