The Permanent Secretary, Ondo State Physical Planning and Urban Development ,Mr Bayo Philip has said that the ministry will continue to maintain policy guiding physical planning in the state.
He urged the Directors and other staff in the ministry to cooperate and work in harmony with him in order to take the ministry to an enviable height.
He stated this during a briefing by the Directors of the ministry about the activities of the ministry.
Philip maintained that cooperation would make the government to be proud of the ministry.
Urging them to be more proactive, he said that the ministry is not an abstract but for the people to discharge their duties effectively.
He equally noted that there must be a way to curb excesses.
While saying that it must be made known to the public that the ministry is a friendly one, he advised that they should handle issues carefully and render assistance where necessary without committing or tarnishing government’s image.
The PS therefore assured that he would make workers’ offices conducive for them so that they can discharge their duties efficiently.
He said all hands will be on deck to achieve government’s plans in the area of physical planning of the state.
