Rapping makes music lively -Coldman

An upcoming musician, Oloye Oluwamayowa popularly known as ‘Oloye Coldman’, has said that he ‘fell in love’ with rap while growing up.

Oloye, who is based in Akure and a graduate of Joseph Ayo Babalola University said he loves rapping “I’m a singer, song writer, record producer and an entrepreneur.

“What makes me happy is whenever I have the opportunity to rap, I have the sole aim of encouraging people to do same in order to make the entertainment industry more lively.

The rapper, born and brought up in Ondo State, said he started rapping at the age of 10.

According to him, “when I was a kid, I used to listen to a genre of music which was introduced to me by my parents and elder brother but I fell in love with rap while growing up, it became the best way to express myself to the world.”

Talking about Nigeria entertainment industry’, he described the industry as a loving place that has provided people with the platform and opportunity to showcase their talents.

“Despite that, in every skill, I can sacrifice my music career for it because when it chose me , I didn’t have a choice anymore.

On what he can do to make a difference in the society he said, “the only way to make a difference is by not giving up on my talents, also working on getting the younger ones grow in the right direction and also make them better than what they used to be.

“It is only God that can take you to your final destination, no other person except God, I believe I am heading to an unstoppable height by God’s grace and my vision is to inspire the world positively.
