We ‘ll continue to support the Police – Ondo Speaker

Ondo State House of Assembly has pledged to continue to give legislative backings to Security Agencies in the State towards enhancing security and enduring peace .
The Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun gave the assurance while playing host to the new Commissioner of Police, Ondo State Command, CP Taiwo Jesubiyi and his team at the Assembly Complex in Akure.
According to the Speaker, the peace being enjoyed in the State is owing to the diligence of security agencies, affirming that the House have trust and confidence in them at ensuring peace and orderliness.
The Speaker appreciated the erstwhile State CPs for their support and cooperation to the assembly
He also advocated for a coordinated synergy with the 10th Assembly towards an unhindered peace in the State, applauding them for the efforts at ensuring peace across the Country.
Earlier, the CP informed that he was posted to the State barely two weeks ago, assuring of their readiness to serve the State better
The Ogun State born Commissioner urged the lawmakers to always call the attention of the police force if they notice any inadequacies among the men of the force.
“Our primary aim is to provide security and to protect lives and I assure the Speaker that we will do our best to secure the State and work harmoniously to achieve our objectives”, he said.
