‘3SC players focus  on task ahead’

By Femi Atolagbe

Players of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan are focused on picking a promotion ticket back to the premier league at the end of the incoming season

Team captain, Waheed Omololu while speaking on the readiness of the team for the 2018/19 season of the Nigerian National League (NNL) disclosed that only a return to the elite league would make them be fulfilled.

“We are not losing focus , we are preparing hard for the season and I can tell you that the only thing in our minds is promotion back to the elite league

“We know our supporters and fans are not happy with where we are, we the players are equally unhappy with the development.

“Shooting Stars supposed to be competing at the highest level with the best clubs in the land but presently, reverse is the case.

“That is why we the players have resolved to give all our best to ensure that 3SC return to the top flight at the end of the incoming season”, said Omololu.

He expressed confidence that going by the readiness of the players, the technical expertise of the Edith Agoye led technical crew as well as motivation from the management of the club, nothing would stop the Oluyole Warriors from staging a return to the elite league.

“I want to appreciate our fans for their support so far, they have stood by us even when results were not forthcoming but we need them now more than ever before.

“We have made up our minds to compensate them with promotion tickets but only their support morally and prayerfully can help us to achieve this”, stated the 3SC defender, fondly called skppo by his teammates and fans.
