AFUED College of Tech ‘ll be cynosure – AFUED

The Management of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, AFUED, Ondo has said the school’s College of Technology will be a cynosure to all schools of technology in Nigeria.

Speaking at the first edition of the matriculation ceremony of the College of Technology, the Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) of AFUED, Dr Samuel Akintunde pledged the support to the College, noting that the university will provide necessary support within its capacity to ensure that the College succeeds in its operations, especially in the training of students.

He commended the management and stakeholders of the institution whose unrelenting effort has brought about the actualization of the College.

Dr. Akintunde also congratulated the matriculating students saying that their names would go down the history book and hall of fame as the first students to be admitted to the institution.

He advised the students to remain steadfast in their learning and to at all times give their best so that when opportunities such as scholarships within or outside Nigeria come, they would not be denied.

The Rector of the College, Dr Kehinde Adenegan, said the occasion marked the beginning of a new academic year and the birth of a new era in the annals of the institution.

He appreciated everyone who contributed to the establishment and growth of the institution, extolling Dr Akintunde as a father to the College, a visioner, leader and a man committed to fostering quality education.

The Rector urged the matriculating students to the College while to embrace every opportunity that came their way.a
