Ondo State Governor, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of new members of the Ondo State Sports Council as part of his administration’s efforts to reposition sports development in the state.
According to a statement issued on Sunday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, the appointments are Oladimeji Abimbola as chairman, Babatunde Martins Boriwa as member and Ibiloye Matthew Abiodun as member.
The appointments take immediate effect.
The governor charged the new council members to deploy their wealth of experience towards advancing sports development, strengthening grassroots participation and promoting sporting excellence across the state.
