Another Ondo student scores 346 in 2025 UTME

Oluwasegun Olamide, a 16-year-old student of AUD Comprehensive High School, Owo, Ondo State, has distinguished himself as one of the top performers in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), scoring an impressive 346 out of a possible 400.
Oluwasegun’s remarkable performance places him within the top one percent of candidates nationwide who scored above 300 in the highly competitive exam.
His achievement has brought pride to his family, school, and the entire Owo community.
According to his UTME breakdown, Oluwasegun scored 98 each in Mathematics and Physics, 79 in Chemistry, and 71 in English Language — all contributing to his total score of 346. His registration number is 202550662902EF.
Reflecting on his success, Oluwasegun credited divine guidance as well as several supportive structures that aided his academic journey.
He also won first place in the inaugural Falaye Science and Mathematics Olympiad (FSMO) in 2024.
“I’m grateful to God for giving me the strength and wisdom to excel. I also appreciate the Ondo State government for investing in quality teachers in our schools.
“In addition, Dr. Foluso Falaye’s sponsorship of the FSMO — an intensive six-month coaching programme for me and 19 others, made a significant impact. The commitment of my teachers at AUDCHS also played a vital role,” he said.
Oluwasegun noted that students from AUD Comprehensive High School have consistently excelled in various competitions within Owo and Ondo State at large, a testament to the school’s growing academic reputation.
