Church decorates Agboola as choir patron

The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Agboola Ajayi has been decorated as the Patron of the Choir of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Bible Centre, in Akure, the state capital.

The Pastor of the church, Rotimi Akinya said the appointment was based on the fact that the Deputy Governor was a member of the church choir in his hometown in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the State.

Ajayi, he said has been a member of the chorister of the church since his youthful days and remained in the church since.

Speaking during the wedding ceremony of Oluwaseyifunmi Akinya and Oluwaseun Alabi at the church, the Pastor in Charge said the Deputy Governor has remained in the church since his youthful days.

He advised the people to remain steadfast in serving God. He also admonished the newly wedded couple to respect and love each other as that is the only way to a lasting marriage.

In his reaction, Ajayi said he is a member of CAC worldwide and has directed all his children to attend the church irrespective of their place of abode.

Although he said God exists in all Christian churches, Ajayi said he remains in the CAC because that is the church of his birth.
