She said scale 2.0 strategy was the new strategy for COVID-19 vaccination because most people are not coming out to get vaccinated.

She stated that the agency has discovered that people don’t want to leave their comfort zone to access the healthcare services.

She described FOMWAN as a formidable association which has its members in all the 18 local government areas and can further help to encourage  people on the importance and need to get vaccinated.

Obaromi, while responding to questions, stated that of the vaccines are available in the state.

Reacting to the experience by some people who have taken the vaccine, Obaromi said “the vaccination is a foreign body and if it meets something in the body, it will push it out.

“It is the body that react to the foreign body not that the vaccine is not good or has any negative effect on the people.”
