More Nigerians have continued to support the campaign of the First Lady of Ondo State, Mrs. Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu under the hash tag”I Choose To Support The Girl Child”.
Latest supporter is the Chairman, Governing Council, Federal Polytechnic, Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, Princess Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole, who also joined the campaign, saying that BEMORE Summer Boot Camp initiative is laudable as it has lifted many girls from the pangs of poverty.
The former State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development stated this yesterday in her office in Akure while playing host to the BEMORE team led by the SSA ,Research and Documentation to the Governor, Mrs. Tope Daniyan and SSA ,Media to Her Excellency, Ms. Tobi Fademi.
While commending Arabinrin Akeredolu for conceptualizing the initiative to empower girls, most especially in the areas of ICT, Renewable Solar Energy and other Life Skills, Princess Ohwovoriole reaffirmed her strong belief in BEMORE.
“I stand with BEMORE and with Arabinrin Akeredolu, she is doing very well in the area of girl-child education and many girls have already benefited from it. Arabinrin Akeredolu, we celebrate you,” she added.
BEMORE Summer Bootcamp is one of the initiatives of Mrs. Akeredolu, conceptualized in 2017 and which has over the years trained over 1,500 girls across the state.
