A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Hon. Bamidele Faparusi, has described the outcome of the June 14 governorship election as a reflection of the will of Ekiti people that cannot be upturned by the verdict of any other party.
Faparusi described the move by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Prof. Kolapo Olusola seeking to nullify the election of Dr. Kayode Fayemi of APC as an exercise in futility.
The former House of Representatives member added that the party will assemble highly experienced legal team that would confront the PDP and its candidate and prevent them from getting victory through the backdoor.
