How my Pastor pushed me to kill my mother -Woman

Thirty-year-old Blessing Jimoh, has told the police in Ondo State Command that she killed her mother because a pastor told her that she was a witch and was behind her problem.
Blessing, a nursing mother, was among the 11 suspects paraded by the Ondo State Police Command at the police headquarters along Igbatoro road in Akure yesterday.
In a chat with The Hope Metro she said:”I am from Ile-Oluji Local Government Area of Ondo State. I approached a pastor who told me that my mother is a witch and was behind all my travails a revelation that compelled me to approach her in her farm and matcheted her in the neck which resulted to her death.
“I did not know why I macheted my mother to death. “
She also told journalists that she has been mentally deranged and had been taken to many herbal homes and churches for cure before the pastor gave the revelation, that her mother, Mrs Ijeoma, was responsible for her ordeal.
According to the State Police boss, Mr Bolaji Salami, on March 18,2021, at about 4.30pm, one Odo Tochukwu of No 3 Adekiya street, Ile-Oluji reported to the police that her mother, Mrs ijeoma was attacked on her way from the farm.
“The complainant said she suspected the duo of one Jimoh blessing and Tope Blessing to have masterminded the killing of her mother.
“Upon interrogation, Jimoh Blessing, who also claimed to be the deceased’s last child, confessed to the killing.
The police boss, while explaining how other suspects were arrested, hinted that one Abiwo Gbemiteke was nabbed for allegedly stabbing one Omosaye Adewale to death.
He disclosed that the unfortunate incident occurred at Omira Street, Igbokoda, headquarters of Ese Odo local government area of the state, and that the suspect made a confessional statement during interrogation.
He added that “one Deji who reportedly murdered one Oluwole Thomas was also arrested by detectives of “B” Division after intensive investigation, adding that the case is being investigated by Homicide Detectives of the State Criminal and lnvestigation Department (SCIID).
Salami told reporters that detectives from Enu Owa police station arrested one Gbenro Adetuyi for allegedly killing his wife and added that the suspect had made a useful confessional statement.
The police commissioner also disclosed that one Abiodun Osuntimehin, a security guard at SA filling station in Ondo town was nabbed for masterminding a robbery operation, during which a security guard working in same station was killed.
According to the police boss, some gang of hoodlums had stormed the filling station and made away with two million naira cash and killed a security guard. He said upon investigation, the suspect, Osuntimehin was arrested and he confessed to the crime.
On the kidnap of an administrative officer identified as Mr Roy of We-Wood Company along Omotosho Ore road, Salami said the police has apprehended a man who masterminded the abduction through the aid of CCTV camera.
He explained that investigation conducted by the police revealed that one Ogbonnaya Obia, who was newly brought into the company by one Mr Dannis Okoh, was responsible for the kidnap of the administrative officer who had since been rescued.
Mr Dannis Okoh is presently in the police custody, the (prime suspect), One Mr Ogbonnaya is still at large and would soon be arrested.
All the suspects, Salami said would soon be charged to court for prosecution.
