‘I receives songs through dreams’

A Gospel Singer, Amusayin Temitope Mary with the stage name ‘Peculiar_sings’ in an interview with Weekend Extravaganza disclosed that her aims in music ministration is to use her voice to touch people’s lives.

Temitope, a native of Oke-Ako in Ekiti  State and also a student of Chemistry Education at Adekunle Ajashin University, Akungba Akoko, said singing and praising God is her calling.

“l didn’t choose music as a career, I will definitely say it’s a call upon my life

The Nigerian born musician said whenever she prays, she gets songs inspiration, as well as in her dreams

She said she started singing right from when she was young and also noted that music is just what she found herself doing.

“Right from the beginning of my life, I love praising God and worshipping His Holy name because I always feel excited whenever I am exalting His name and besides, it’s what I am called for and my purpose.

When asked how long she has been singing, Tope said “I can’t really remember because it’s being years. I produced a single song titled AWIMAYEHUN in 2022

“I discovered I can sing when God spoke to me in my dreams concerning my purpose, and since then, my wish is to proclaim the name of God to the world.

“I urge upcoming artistes like me to wait unto the Lord and put God first in whatever they may be doing and let God show them the way to follow and also to let them know that God is the center of every talent.
