Irele LG boss assures workers of rewards

Chairman, Irele Local Government, Mr. Olusegun Ajimotokin has pledged to reward diligent workers for them to always give their best in the LG.
He said the award was to motivate workers to be committed and implement policies that will better the standard of living of the people.
Ajimotokin stated this during the Annual General Prayer Meeting held at the council’s secretariat to start the year .
The chairman noted the importance of capacity building to self-development which he said would be of help to workers after they might have retired from service.
About seven members of staff were rewarded and found worthy in diligence, competence, integrity, punctuality, adherence to civil service rules, among other rules.
He charged workers to be ready to give their best in 2022 and contribute their quota to the development of Irele Local Government and Ondo State at large .
He said his administration takes security of lives and property very serious, adding that the initiative of the security committee and the Security Trust Fund have helped designed a viable security architecture in the Local Government and the people will start to see the outcome from now.
He stressed that efforts on security would bring back banking services in the local government in no distant times.
He commended Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for counting him and his contemporaries across the local government worthy to pilot the affairs of their respective council.
He emphasized that the commitment of Governor Akeredolu to the security of his people was worthy of commendation adding that the Ondo state was now adjudged the most peaceful state in the federation.
Prayers were held for peace, progress and development of Irele Local Government, Ondo State and Nigeria at large, protection and good health for Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, political leaders and civil servants.
