Leverage on skills acquisition, Adeleke charges Corps members

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke has charged Corps members newly posted to Osun to leverage on the National Youth Service Corps skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development programmes for self-development.
The Governor gave the charge at the swearing -in and official opening ceremony of the 2023 Batch ‘C’,Stream 1 Orientation Course for Corps members deployed to Osun at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Ede.
He equally urged them to dream big, work hard and be the change agent that they desire for the society, adding that with the right knowledge and commitment, they can achieve anything.
He further advised them to obey all rules and regulations governing the camp, be law abiding and always embrace peaceful coexistence, wholesome friendship as well as honesty and virtue.
He also charged them not to indulge in frivolities and exuberance associated with modern youths.
Earlier in his address of welcome, the State NYSC Coordinator, Mr Agbor Ndoma Obim appreciated Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for the state financial support which according to him, has gone a along way in making life comfortable throughout the regimented period while in camp.
The State Coordinator who noted that a total number of 1,974 corps members for stream 1 were deployed to Osun State, urged them to embrace the orientation course with an open heart and willingness to learn, assuring them that they will acquire skills, knowledge and values that will guide them throughout their service year.
