‘Music, antidote to illness’

An upcoming artiste, Tope Famuyide, has identified music as the best antidote to both physical and spiritual illnesses.

Famuyide who also said, music is an adventure which has been part of his life from childhood, noted that it made life more meaningful for those who trust in God.

During an interview with Friday Extravaganza, he revealed that music has given him confidence and  has exposed him to lot of experiences.

Famuyide, revealed that his journey into the music industry was divinely arranged to make people know Christ.

The artiste revealed that he started singing when he was a young boy, but professionally about three years ago.

He said his inspiration was divine, supported by listening to good old music of the likes of Travis Greene, Bidemi Olaoba, and Sola Allyson.

The artiste who is a 400 level student of Biochemistry, from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, noted that God has been so good to him and has helped him to manage both his career and education properly without any issue.

Famuyide, who hails from Ijare, in Ondo State, mentioned financial constraint as the major challenge he facing, but God has been supporting him.

He stated that his aim is to reach out to as many people as possible and make heaven at last.

He however advised gospel artistes to put their trust in the Lord and wait for His appointed time.
