ODSG partners DAF on career counseling initiative for Ondo schools

Ondo State Government through the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has partnered with a non-governmental organization, Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) to implement a career counseling initiative for Senior Secondary Schools in Ondo West Local Government area.

According to the letter of approval signed by the Administrative Secretary, Ondo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, O.O Adesida, your letter to the Ministry, dated January 23, 2026 requesting approval to implement a career counselling initiative across Senior Secondary Schools in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State is hereby acknowledged.

“Please be informed that the Ministry has granted your request to conduct the programme. Consequently, you are to note that the programme must be at no cost to the schools and students.

“The period of engagement should be limited in order not to disrupt academic activities and officer from Guidance and Counselling Unit will accompany your organization to the school to supervise the activities, Accept the assurances of our esteemed regards.

“We urged the principals of these schools to cooperate and support the organiser to ensure the successful implementation of the programme”.

Speaking on the programme, Programme Manager,DAF, Sarah Babalola said Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF) is a revolutionary, community-based NGO founded in 2022, propelled by an unyielding passion to inspire, empower, and connect people through transformative, life-changing mentorship.
She said, we started this initiative in 2023, and we have worked alongside the school counselors to implement this programs.”The program features one -on-one consultation with counselors”.

She noted that foundation led by the visionary, dynamic, and indefatigable founder, Barrister Adesuyi Daramola; a trailblazer, champion of community and personal growth.

“We’re devoted to leaving an indelible, lasting impact on the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

“Our meticulously curated Counseling is a powerhouse of knowledge, packed with meticulously questions and expert guidance, strategically designed to propel students towards unparalleled success in their academics and career wise catapulting them into a future of boundless possibilities, unbridled confidence, and academic excellence”.

Babalola said the counselling programme is a groundbreaking, impactful initiative aimed at equipping students towards a better future, fostering a brighter and more promising future for the youths,

“Nurturing tomorrow’s leaders, shaping change-makers, and cultivating a wave of positive transformation that resonates across generations”.

The foundation, however, commended the state government for supporting the NGO initiative over the years.

The three schools include Lujom Community High School Ayeyemi, Independence Grammar School Ondo and Bagbe Grammar School Bagbe.
