The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Ondo State, has announced that the claims and objections exercise for the recently concluded second phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) will commence on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
According to the Commission, the exercise will run until Tuesday, May 5, 2026, and will be conducted daily between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. across all 18 Local Government area offices of INEC in the state.

INEC explained that the exercise will feature the display of the Preliminary Register of Voters (PRV), allowing newly registered voters, those who applied for transfer, and individuals who updated their biodata to verify their details and request corrections where necessary.
It also provides an opportunity for members of the public to raise objections against ineligible entries, including underage registrants, deceased persons, or non-citizens who may have been captured in the register.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Ondo State, Dr. Mutiu Agboke, assured that the Commission remains committed to ensuring robust public participation in all electoral processes, noting that the exercise is crucial to strengthening the credibility of the voters’ register.
INEC therefore urged eligible citizens and registered voters in the state to take full advantage of the exercise, describing a clean and credible register as the foundation of free, fair, and transparent elections.
