The Owa of Ogbagi in Akoko North West Local Government area, Oba Victor Olasehinde Adetona, has commended the Nigerian Army and other security agencies for neutralising two suspected terrorists along the Akunu–Auga Road in Ondo State.
The monarch, in a statement, praised troops of the 32 Artillery Brigade, for what he described as their professionalism and gallantry during the tactical operation.
He said the development had boosted ongoing efforts to rid the area of criminal elements and restore lasting peace to affected communities.
Oba Adetona also acknowledged the collaborative role of the Ondo State Security Network Agency and local vigilantes in supporting the joint operation, stressing that synergy among security stakeholders remained vital to sustaining security gains.
He reaffirmed the community’s support for security agencies and urged residents to continue providing credible and timely information to aid ongoing operations.
The traditional ruler noted that collective vigilance and cooperation between residents and security operatives were essential to safeguarding lives and property across the area.
