The National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) has declared unflinching support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the gubernatorial candidate of  the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the Saturday November 16 gubernatorial election in the  State.

President of the association, Senator Oyelade Hammed, made the declaration in Akure during a press conference, urging students of Ondo State to exercise their franchise by voting in support of Governor Aiyedatiwa.

In his address, Oyelade, who is also the convener of the Aiyedatiwa Students Movement (ASM), highlighted several benefits that the members of the association have received from the Governor since he assumed office, including bursaries and scholarships, youth empowerment, employment opportunities, sponsorship of WAEC fees, and many more.

The president emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to progress, with a deep understanding of the needs of the people, particularly the youth and students of the state.

“Since taking office, Governor Aiyedatiwa has shown exemplary leadership, a commitment to progress, and a keen understanding of the needs of the people, especially the youth and students of our great state,” he noted.

He further stated, “His impactful policies and initiatives, particularly in the education sector, have laid the foundation for sustainable development and have elevated Ondo State on the national map.”

The president reaffirmed Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to the student constituency and emphasised the importance of their votes in supporting the governor’s re-election bid.

In a message of appreciation to the governor, Oyelade assured Ondo State students that Governor Aiyedatiwa would provide even more opportunities for the student body if  elected on Saturday, to continue as the governor of the Sunshine State.

The president also expressed gratitude to the students of Ondo State for their steadfast support.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the governor for his unwavering dedication to the betterment of our state and to every student who has been an active part of this movement.

“Your support, energy, and belief in a brighter future drive this cause. Thank you, and let us remain united as we work towards a greater and more prosperous Ondo State,” he concluded
