Osun NSCDC conducts psychological test for officials

In a bid to ensure professionalism and better service delivery, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps, (NSCDC), Osun State Command has conducted a psychological assessment on personnel in the state.

This is sequel to the directive of the Commandant General of the Corps, Mr Abdullahi Muhammadu Gana that personnel of the corps should be assessed to know the psychological status and minds of officers.

While addressing the personnel, the team leader from Abuja who supervised the assessment, Assistant Superintendent Corps, Bamidele Temidayo allayed the fears of personnel that the exercise is not aimed at downsizing and witch, hunting.

He promised that information provided will be confidential.

Bamidele explained further that the information provided will provide a robust forensic psychological data base.

The State Commandant, Mr Ebenezer Aboluwoye commended the management of the corps for the laudable initiative aimed at ensuring professionalism and better service delivery.

He reiterated that the exercise became imperative so as to forestall negative attitudes among personnel.

Also speaking, the forensic expert in Osun Command Assistant Superintendent of Corps, Stephen Oyebode said the Commandant General and his team graciously approved the exercise to prepare officers and men for better productivity and performance at their respective beats
