From Akinnodi Francis ,Ondo

The All Progressives Congress (APC), have said that President Bola Tinubu has performed well enough to deserve re-election in 2027, citing the impact of his economic reforms on states and the visible infrastructure projects across the country.

Chairman of APC in Ondo West Local Government area of Ondo State, Oladimeji Raphael Owolabi stated this when speaking with newsmen in Ondo recently.

He called on all party leaders, members and groups to start their campaign from the grassroots and mobilise support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.

He said, “History has shown that transformational nations are built by courageous leaders who are willing to make difficult decisions for the greater good.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, has demonstrated such leadership through bold economic reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria for sustainable growth, economic resilience and long-term national prosperity.”

He noted that since assuming office, President Tinubu has introduced reforms across key sectors of the economy, including oil and gas, foreign exchange, taxation, infrastructure, electricity, agriculture, manufacturing, investment, education, technology and social intervention programmes.

“These reforms are intended to strengthen the nation’s economic foundation, improve the investment climate, encourage local production, create jobs and secure a brighter future for generations to come.

“One of the most significant achievements has been the renewed focus on the oil and gas sector. Through stronger protection of critical national assets and intensified efforts against crude oil theft and pipeline vandalism,

“Nigeria has recorded improvements in crude oil production, thereby enhancing government revenue and strengthening the economy.”

The chairman, appreciated all relevant government security agencies and stakeholders for their efforts and support in safeguarding the nation.

“We also commend the president whose unwavering commitment to peace, security and the protection of Nigeria’s strategic oil assets has inspired confidence in the nation’s quest for economic recovery. His leadership and dedication to national development continue to serve as an example of patriotism and service.

“Our profound appreciation also goes to our visionary Principal, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, whose exceptional leadership, strategic direction, and unwavering commitment have transformed the state into a formidable grassroots platform for promoting the Renewed Hope Agenda. His dedication to mobilizing the people of Ondo State in support of good governance, national unity, and democratic participation remains deeply inspiring.”

Owolabi, therefore, reaffirmed the party’s commitment in the council to mobilizing thousands of people,to participate peacefully and democratically in support of the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, while also supporting candidates who are committed to national development and the progress of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”

“Let us remain united in our resolve to build a stronger economy, a safer nation, and a more prosperous future. With continuity, determination, and collective sacrifice, Nigeria can achieve even greater heights. Together, let us move Nigeria forward. Together, let us sustain the Renewed Hope Agenda. Together, let us secure victory in 2027.”
